TechCraft Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of our mobile game, Jewel Voyage (“the App”), available on the Google Play Store. Jewel Voyage is a match-3 puzzle game designed for entertainment purposes. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices.

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or device identifiers (e.g., IMEI or MAC address) directly through Jewel Voyage. The App does not require login credentials or user accounts, and we do not collect such data.

  • Game Data: We store basic gameplay data locally on your device, such as your progress, levels completed, and coin balances. This data is not transmitted to us or any third party and remains on your device unless you uninstall the App.
  • Permissions-Based Data: Jewel Voyage requests the following permissions, but we do not use them to collect personal data:
    • Internet (android.permission.INTERNET): Used to load advertisements from Admob and Unity Ads, and to process in-app purchases via Google Play.
    • Access Network State (android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to check network availability for ad loading and purchases.
    • Ad ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID): Used by Admob and Unity Ads to provide personalized ads (see Section 2 for details).

1.3 Third-Party Data Collection (Admob, Unity Ads, Google Play)
Jewel Voyage integrates Admob and Unity Ads to display advertisements and Google Play for in-app purchases. These services may collect:

  • Approximate location (derived from IP address).
  • Advertising ID (a unique identifier for ad tracking).
  • Device information (e.g., OS version, device type).
  • Usage data (e.g., ad interactions, purchase history).

How We Use Information

  • Locally Stored Data: Gameplay data (e.g., levels, coins) is used solely to enhance your experience within Jewel Voyage and is stored on your device.
  • Advertisements: The permissions for internet and Ad ID are used to serve ads via Admob and Unity Ads. We do not use this access for any other purpose.
  • In-App Purchases: Internet access facilitates secure transaction processing through Google Play.
    We do not share, sell, or transfer any data collected by the App to third parties, except as facilitated by Admob, Unity Ads, and Google Play for advertising and purchases.

Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: All gameplay data is stored locally on your device. We do not upload this data to servers or cloud storage.
  • Security: Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, there is no risk of data breaches from our end. Data stored locally is as secure as your device’s own security measures.
  • If you uninstall Jewel Voyage, all locally stored data will be deleted automatically.

Third-Party Services (Admob, Unity Ads, Google Play)

Jewel Voyage uses Admob and Unity Ads to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads, and Google Play for in-app purchases. These services may use cookies, Advertising ID, and other technologies to serve personalized ads or process transactions based on your interests. You can manage your ad personalization settings through your device’s Google settings:

Age Restriction

Jewel Voyage is designed for users aged 13 and above. The game’s content, including its use of in-app purchases and advertisements, is intended for a teenage and adult audience. We encourage parents or guardians to supervise younger users and review this policy to understand our data practices.

Children’s Privacy

Jewel Voyage is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. However, Admob and Unity Ads’ ad-serving may still apply to users of all ages. Parents or guardians should review Google’s and Unity’s policies if concerned about ad-related data collection.

Your Choices

  • Ad Personalization: You can disable personalized ads via your device settings (see Section 4).
  • Permissions: You may revoke internet access via your device settings, but this will prevent ads and in-app purchases from functioning, though the game will remain playable offline.
  • Data Deletion: Uninstalling Jewel Voyage removes all locally stored gameplay data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. The updated policy will be posted within the App or on our Google Play Store listing, with the effective date revised accordingly.
